Usborne was named 2014 Independent Publisher of the Year, with consistently high-quality, noncommercial books. Usborne’s mission is to spread literacy and compete with television for children’s attention by providing interactive, approachable, engaging books from birth to high school.
Samples of the award-winning books will be on display at the school during the book fair.
Orders can be made during the book fair or online at Malamalama’s “e-Fair” website at https://g4518.myubam.com/151656. Books ordered through the e-Fair can be shipped anywhere in the United States (including Guam and APOs) or delivered with free shipping to Malamalama for pickup.
Usborne will provide Malamalama Waldorf School a 50 percent matching grant on the proceeds of the book fair, which will allow Malamalama to receive free books for classrooms and programs.
The fair is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to stop by or shop online to support literacy.
